Mayor opens Book of Condolence in memory of Martin McGuinness

The Mayor of Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council, Alderman Maura Hickey, has opened Books of Condolence for former deputy First Minister, Martin McGuinness, following his death on 21st March 2017.

The Mayor has expressed her sympathy saying: "As Mayor I want to take this opportunity to express my sincere condolences upon hearing the news of the passing of former deputy First Minister, Martin McGuinness.  I know many people will be shocked and saddened by his death. I want to extend my sympathy to Mr McGuinness’ wife, children and his family circle.”

Books of Condolence are available for members of the public to sign at Council’s Civic Headquarters in Coleraine and at Council’s Offices in Ballycastle, Ballymoney and Limavady.

The books will be available to sign until 4pm on Wednesday 29th March.
