New guides out now for Council’s Arts Centres

Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council has launched its latest Arts and Culture Events Guide.
It features a packed programme of theatre, musical events and exhibitions from now until June.
Highlights at Flowerfield Arts Centre in Portstewart include The Linley Hamilton Quartet on Thursday 2nd May while Anthony Toner will entertain musical audiences on Friday 7th June in celebration of his ninth studio album.
Art exhibitions include the Fabulous Student Showcase in the Main Galleries from Saturday 1st until Saturday 29th June. A unique opportunity to view Famished, a poetic sequence that explores the Irish Famine by Cherry Smith will take place in on Friday 14th June at 8pm.
Creative learning classes will be on offer for children with the Splish Splash Splosh Club and Pottery Pals taking place throughout April, May and June.
Events at Roe Valley Arts and Cultural Centre in Limavady include a gig with The Illegals and Niamh Kavanagh on Saturday 13th April. Following this, GBL productions will present the show Fifty Shades of Red, White and Blue on Friday 19th April and on Thursday 6th June Elvis enthusiasts will get the chance to enjoy the award winning Ciaran Houlihan with his TCB band and the Sweet Sensations.
Exhibitions include 90 Years of Motorcycling in Limavady organised by Ian Foster. Opening on Saturday 11th May, the display of photographs will be available to view until Sunday 19th May.
