Tourism in Causeway Coast and Glens is built on people, places, creativity, and the experiences that bring them together - and this June, local businesses from across the visitor economy will have the opportunity to do just that.
A Speed Networking event will take place at The Royal Court Hotel on Tuesday 2nd June 2026, bringing together both new and established businesses from across the Borough for a morning of conversation, connection, and collaboration.
The event is open to a wide range of businesses connected to the visitor experience, including hotels, guesthouses, self-catering accommodation providers, restaurants, cafés, food and drink producers, visitor attractions, activity providers, artists, makers, crafters, tour guides and tourism experience operators.
Designed to encourage meaningful connections, the morning will provide an opportunity for businesses to meet face-to-face, share what they offer, and explore how they can work together to strengthen and diversify the visitor experience across the destination.
Early registrations already include The Marcus Portrush, The Lodge Hotel, Dunluce Lodge, Elephant Rock Hotel, and Portrush Adelphi, with further interest growing from businesses across the tourism, hospitality, food, and creative sectors.
The event will also welcome representation from Tourism Ireland, with their Stakeholder Engagement NI representative joining the discussion.
More than just networking, the event aims to build stronger relationships across the wider visitor economy, helping businesses better understand the breadth of experiences, products, and talent available throughout Causeway Coast and Glens. It is hoped the conversations sparked on the day will lead to new partnerships, collaborative experiences, and opportunities for growth.
Mayor of Causeway Coast and Glens, Councillor Oliver McMullan, welcomed the initiative:
“This is a fantastic opportunity for businesses from across our tourism and hospitality sector - including food producers, makers, crafters, retailers, and experience providers - to come together, share ideas, and showcase the incredible talent we have throughout Causeway Coast and Glens. Working collaboratively helps us create a stronger, more connected visitor offering and reinforces our reputation as a leading destination.”
Destination Manager, Kerrie McGonigle added:
“We encourage businesses of all sizes and sectors connected to the visitor experience to take advantage of this networking opportunity. Whether you are an accommodation provider, a restaurant, a local producer, or a creative business, there is huge value in building partnerships and exploring new ways to create memorable and authentic experiences for visitors to the region.”
