Communities across Causeway Coast and Glens came together yesterday to honour the memory of those who have lost their lives in conflicts.

The Deputy Mayor, Councillor Tanya Stirling attended the annual Remembrance Day service at Coleraine War Memorial, where she laid a wreath on behalf of citizens of the Borough.

Other elected members also laid wreaths at commemoration events in other towns and villages, including Ballymoney, Ballycastle, Limavady, Portrush, Portstewart, Garvagh, Kilrea, Bushmills, Dervock and Aghadowey.

Remembrance Services in the Borough will conclude on Sunday, 17 November, when a service will be held at St Thomas’ Church on Rathlin Island, followed by wreath laying in the adjoining church yard.
