Active Causeway - Sport & Wellbeing Development Unit
We promote active, healthy lifestyles and inclusive opportunities for people of all ages and abilities. Through programmes, partnerships, and initiatives, we aim to enhance physical, mental, and social wellbeing across five key pillars:
-
Performance & Coaching – Supporting athletes and coaches with talent pathways, training, mentorship, and recognition from grassroots to elite levels.
Community & Inclusion – Creating equitable opportunities with adaptive programmes for people with disabilities, diverse communities, and underrepresented groups.
Participation & Play – Encouraging fun, accessible activity through grassroots programmes, youth engagement, recreational sport, and improved facility access.
-
Physical Activity & Wellbeing – Promoting everyday movement, active living, and health-focused initiatives to support overall wellbeing.
-
Age-Friendly Programming – Delivering tailored activities that support active ageing, social connection, and lifelong participation.
Our holistic approach fosters a vibrant, healthy community where everyone can thrive.
