The Foodovation™ & Skills Centre is a specialist innovation and training facility focused on strengthening the food and drink sector across the region. Delivered through the redevelopment of North West Regional College’s Limavady campus, the centre will provide businesses with access to modern industry‑standard kitchens, laboratories, and processing equipment, alongside expert support in product development, food safety, and regulatory compliance. It will also deliver a wide range of accredited training programmes, helping to upskill the workforce and improve sector productivity. By enabling businesses to design, test, and commercialise new products, the centre will foster innovation, support company growth, and enhance the competitiveness of local food enterprises while creating new jobs and opportunities throughout the supply chain.
