Ballymoney beats off stiff competition to be crowned High Street of the Year

The Mayor of Causeway Coast and Glens has congratulated Ballymoney retailers after the town scooped a top accolade at this year’s prestigious High Street Hero Awards.
Ballymoney confirmed its Gold status in the major online poll and took home the coveted High Street of the Year 2023 award.
The town achieved further success, with W&J Walker winning Gold for Best Homeware Retailer. The Winsome Lady also won two awards – Best Fashion Retailer; Silver and Overall Independent Retailer of the Year; Bronze.
Outside of Ballymoney, Causeway Coast and Glens retailers received a further four awards, including:
- Couples, Coleraine - Best Fashion Retailer, Gold
- Real Health, Coleraine - Best Healthcare Retailer, Bronze,
- Couples, Coleraine - Overall Independent Retailer of the Year, Silver,
- Finishing Touches Too, Limavady - Best Generalist Retailer, Silver.
High Street Heroes is a joint initiative powered by Retail NI and supported by Camelot, Roam, Strategic Power Connect and Belfast Live, which sees thousands of shoppers across Northern Ireland vote for their favourites in a range of categories.
