Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council’s Town & Village Management team is delighted to announce the return of the Ballymoney Spring Fair Best Window Display Competition for 2026.

Following the success of last year’s competition, businesses across Ballymoney town centre are once again invited to take part by creating vibrant and eye-catching spring-themed window displays in support of the annual Spring Fair.

Mayor of Causeway Coast and Glens, Oliver McMullan, said:

“This contest is an ideal opportunity for Ballymoney business owners to celebrate alongside the annual Spring Fair and to showcase the wonderful range of products, produce and services that Ballymoney has to offer both local people and visitors alike. It is always great to see the town come alive during the Fair, and I would encourage as many businesses as possible to get involved.

“This competition is open to all businesses based in Ballymoney town centre. I would encourage everyone to have their windows dressed in a Spring theme for the first day of Ballymoney Spring Fair on Friday 17 April 2026. Good luck to all those taking part.”

The winning of the 2026 best window will be presented with a beautifully designed prize which has been handcrafted expertly by Ballymoney local Alan Dean of Scenic Woodcraft, on behalf of Council. The award has been designed using reclaimed materials and reflects both sustainability and the spirit of the season.

Alan Dean, from Scenic Woodcraft, said:

“I was delighted to be asked to create this award. It has been made from reclaimed beech, and the tulip design reflects the arrival of spring. With the town planted in tulips for the Fair, I hope the winning business will display it with pride.”

Key Dates:

  • Window displays must be ready by Friday 17 April 2026
  • Judging will take place on Saturday 18 April 2026
  • The winner will be announced before the Fair concludes
