Council raises district rate for first time in four years

There will be a 1.5% increase in the District Rate set by Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council.
This is the first rates increase in four years.
The decision was taken by Council members at a meeting on Thursday 7th February.
Council remains committed to controlling its costs whilst maintaining the levels of service enjoyed by the rate payers.
The rate factors which will be applied from 1st April 2019 are:
Domestic 0.3621
Non-Domestic 24.8455
This takes no account of any regional rate increase which has yet to be announced.
