Council’s Town & Village Management, in conjunction with the Estates Team, have lit up the urban towns across the Borough this Christmas.
The new large features have proven to be a great addition to the atmosphere In Coleraine, Limavady, Ballymoney and Ballycastle.
In Ballymoney, visitors can pose for that perfect photo in front of a glowing festive star, or in Coleraine, snap the family inside the huge gift-box shaped installation or under the twinkling canopy at the Town Hall.
Limavady’s installation features two fun present boxes with a smiley face and hands that the kids will love, while in Ballycastle, visitors can enjoy a walk-through beautifully lit arch way along the seafront.
Council is encouraging everyone to go and take a look at the new features and get that festive family photo at one of the Instagram-able features. Why not try and get a full set of the four towns.
Retailers across the Borough have also been getting in the festive spirit with enticing Christmas window displays.
The judges have been out and named the winners who have been provided a unique handcrafted award design and produced by local artisan Alan Dean from Scenic Woodcraft.
