Enterprise Week proves a success across the Causeway Coast and Glens

Wed, March 14, 2018

The inaugural Enterprise Week for the Causeway Coast and Glens has been hailed as a resounding success.

Organised by Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council, in partnership with Causeway Chamber, Causeway Enterprise Agency, Roe Valley Enterprises and a host of business support agencies, it featured events to suit all businesses at various stages of their entrepreneurial journey.

These included a digital marketing boot camp, workshops about funding avenues and networking opportunities. It also aimed to inspire the next generation with Business Masterclasses aimed at primary school pupils in conjunction with Young Enterprise NI.

The Mayor of Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council, Councillor Joan Baird OBE said: “Enterprise Week provided exciting opportunities for our established businesses and those seeking to take the next step towards further growth and progression. The programme of events received great support across the Borough, equipping participants with the tools and techniques they need to succeed. I was delighted to attend the Women in Business “Be Bold For Progress” conference and I have no doubt this event, like those held throughout the week, will have made a lasting impact on participants.”
