Due to concerns regarding loose slates falling from a building on Linenhall Street, Limavady, and in the interests of public safety, a section of the footpath has been closed to pedestrians as a precautionary measure.
Council is liaising closely with the building owner and the Historic Environment Division to assess the building and determine the most appropriate course of action to ensure public safety while safeguarding the listed building.
The public is asked to adhere to signage or any traffic management systems that may be put in place.
