Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council is inviting members of the public to have their say on proposed new leisure and well-being facilities in Coleraine throughout September.

A consultation process opens on Monday 8th September, and will run through to the 1st October 2025.

The project, which forms part of the Causeway Coast and Glens Growth Deal, aims to design a new, modern, and fit-for-purpose leisure centre on the existing Railway Road site.

Mayor of Causeway Coast and Glens, Councillor Oliver McMullan said: “It is important that we collect feedback from the people who will be using this new health and well-being facility in Coleraine.

“I would encourage anyone who is interested in this fantastic project to take time to participate in the consultation process or come along to one of the community drop-in sessions to hear more.”

Members of the public are invited to either complete an online survey or come along to information days being held in Coleraine Leisure Centre.

These informal community drop-in sessions will take place on Wednesday 10th September from 12pm - 2pm and 3pm - 5pm, and Thursday 18th September from 4pm - 7pm.

Council is encouraging as many people as possible to come along to find out more about the proposals, see design information boards and chat to Council officers involved in the process.
