World host Food Training for food and drink staff!
Fri, January 20, 2017
Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council in association with Tourism NI is holding another World Host Food Ambassador programme.
The training will equip frontline staff with the knowledge they need to sell the region as a ‘foodie destination’.
It will be delivered over a half-day session, developed by Tourism NI, People 1st and Food NI/Taste of Ulster.
The training will use experiential learning and include a wide range of local food and drink tasting. It will bring staff up to speed on all that is happening in our growing food and drink industry and ultimately equip staff with the confidence and knowledge they need to tell the stories of our local produce.
As this is funded in partnership by Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council and Tourism NI the costs have been cut to only £20 per person to take part.
The training will take place on Tuesday 7th February from 9.30am – 2pm at the Causeway Hotel, Bushmills.
If you are interested in taking part please register with Nuala McTaggart by emailing Nuala.mctaggart@causewaycoastandglens.gov.uk .
Please make sure you register before 12noon on Friday 27th January. Funded spaces will be offered on a first come first served basis.
