Visit Causeway Coast and Glens at Bord Bia Bloom 28th May - 1st June 2026

Visit Causeway Coast and Glens was delighted to attend Bord Bia Bloom in Dublin, showcasing the very best of the destination to Republic of Ireland audiences, which is a key market for the region.

Working alongside businesses within the borough including Roe Valley Resort, National Trust, The Causeway Hotel and The McKeever Group. The team promoted the breadth of experiences on offer across the Causeway Coast and Glens, including the iconic Causeway Coastal Route, world-class attractions, unforgettable visitor experiences, high-quality accommodation and inspiring short-break ideas.

Throughout the five-day event, the team helped visitors discover what makes the destination so special, while also sharing practical information on how to get here and supporting potential visitors in building tailored itineraries to suit their interests. Attendance at Bloom provided an excellent opportunity to inspire ROI consumers to choose the Causeway Coast and Glens for their next getaway, reinforcing the destination’s appeal as a place rich in scenery, heritage, hospitality and adventure.

Meet the Buyer 2026

Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council attended the annual Meet the Buyer workshop—Northern Ireland’s largest B2B tourism event—in March.

This two-day event brought together 185 tour operators from around the world. Council’s Destination Marketing team had the opportunity to meet with these operators, showcase everything the Causeway Coast and Glens has to offer international visitors, assist with itinerary planning, and promote new attractions and experiences.

Attendees represented 16 global markets, including North America, Australia, Canada, and across Europe—key regions for the destination. Many are already doing business within the borough, while others are planning to in the coming years.

Participation in events like this is a vital part of the Council’s marketing activity. It helps position the region on the global stage, ensuring it remains a top consideration for international travel trade and visitors alike. A strong presence from local tourism businesses further highlighted the importance of collaboration and partnership working across the destination.

The Council was also pleased to welcome several tour operators to the area as part of familiarisation trips organised by Tourism Northern Ireland. These visits provided first-hand experience of the region’s outstanding products, landscapes, hidden gems, and—most importantly—the people who bring the destination to life through authentic stories and warm hospitality.
