Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council’s Enterprise Fund opened for applications this week.
The Enterprise Fund was established in 2017 and aims to support young businesses (less than two years old) achieve further growth through new and innovative approaches.
All types of businesses are eligible to apply but Council particularly welcomes applications from the following priority sectors: advanced manufacturing, materials and engineering, construction, financial business and professional services, retail, tourism and hospitality, agri-food and sustainable energy.
Mayor of Causeway Coast and Glens, Councillor Oliver McMullan said: “I am delighted to confirm that Council’s Enterprise Fund is now open again for new applications.
“The Fund offers vital financial support to young businesses, encouraging them to take the next step in their entrepreneurial journey, helping to innovate, upscale and expand their customer base outside local markets.
“By setting up the Enterprise Fund, Council recognises the importance of innovative entrepreneurs and is committed to helping fledgling businesses to grow, in what has been an extremely challenging few years.
“Since 2017, the Enterprise Fund has been shown to have had a tremendous impact on previous successful recipients, and we’re looking forward to continuing this trend as we put out this call for new applications.”
The Enterprise Fund opened on Monday 2nd June 2025 and will close on Monday 30th June 2025 at 12 noon.
Applications can be made via Council’s grant funding hub where Guidance Notes are now available at https://causewaycoastandglens.gov.uk/grantsandfunding.
