15. Notice of Motion Proposed by Councillor McShane and Seconded by Councillor Bateson from Council Meeting held Tuesday 30 June 2026.

‘That this Council recognises the environmental, health and tourism benefits of publicly accessible water refill stations and notes the successful provision of such facilities elsewhere within the borough, including at Rathlin Harbour. Council therefore agrees to explore the feasibility of installing publicly accessible water refill stations, and to identify potential locations, costs and funding opportunities for their delivery.

Council further agrees that a report on the feasibility of this proposal be brought before the relevant committee for consideration.’
